My comments on tutoring Writing : Writing is a way to sit down and speak freely via pen and paper to express feeling, emotion, and communication to reconcile ideas, feelings, and actions at that point in time.

My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. My main job was working with the teen section; GeneratioNext asking questions, taking polls, and writing articles that were teen related to teen issues, college and continuing education, and career goals. Throughout my junior high school and high school years I worked closely with the editor of the school newspaper as a writer, and with the yearbook committee taking classes in journalism and photography. I consider my teaching style to be interactive. I like for the student to be constantly involved in the lesson and not just listening. I have found that if the student participates more, the student will learn more quickly. I also believe students enjoy learning more if they have some input into the methods used to teach. I like to give them a few choices for activities to do. The student is more receptive to new material if they feel that they had a choice in how the material was introduced to them.
From Novemeber of 2008 until November of 2009, I was an English Teacher at Wilshire Korea Language School in Busan, South Korea. I taught children from the ages of 7 - 18. We covered conversational English, Reading, Essay writing, and listening comprehension.
