I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it." I am very comfortable working with Montessori materials and and using the Montessori method of teaching (very hands on, using all of the senses, and tailoring lessons to the individual child). However, I am also open to other teaching methods and have combined methods when teaching in the elementary setting.
I have spent the last twenty years in teaching and related endeavors. I was the owner and administrator of my own Montessori school in Orlando, FL for eight years. The school had 100 students from preschool though sixth grade.
