I have been a working graphic designer for most of my life after graduation from Ohio State. After 12 years of design I was asked to participate in an art and education program at Chicago Public Schools Autism Program. I was hired on the spot and then continued with education by obtaining a masters degree in special education in Tempe Arizona. In Arizona I was assigned as an inclusion teacher for 9, 10 11th grade English. I had to accommodate diverse learners and plan instruction. I hold a valid Arizona Cross Catagorical Special Education Certificate that expires August 2013 I can identify students problems in learning and can accommodate and modify curriculum so diverse learning can understand grade level state standards. My undergraduate background is in philosophy and my teaching experience is in mathematics. I believe any- one with the right motivation can reach they're potential with the proper tools being taught as well as the right environment. I have a BA in education 7-12th grade. I currently substitute teach and coach highschool football. I love seeing students reach thier potential through my committed aid as well as hard work.I have lead tutoring seccions thoughout my highschool and collage carees. I continue with this by leading study tables at the schools I substitute for. I feel I am able to look at children as induvidual learners and accomidate thier needs through a wide varity of teaching methods.
