English ESOL is one of my top subjects! I have taught ESOL at school for nearly 30 years and worked as a tutor with all ages of students from Elementary and Middle School grade levels all the way up to college students and adults.

My approach to tutoring is that all students are capable of learning. Kids often benefit from a fresh perspective and it is my job to make them more confident again. I have tutored in Reading for elementary students. I have also taught Psychology for over four years at two community colleges. I taught many students with diverse backgrounds. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. My vocabulary, spelling and reading skills are very strong. I have utilized this in different jobs and volunteer positions I have held. I taught anger management classes at a Rehabilitation Facility for women. I also taught pre-k at the elementary school near Fort Hood, Texas, while stationed there. I have been with the military community as a Navy child, an Army Captain in the Reserves and an Army Spouse.
