Composition is one of my top subjects! As the child of a novelist, there was an extremely heavy emphasis on composition in my education.

I love to incorporate art and sensory experiences into everything I do to really activate the brain. The "Drill and Kill" is very rarely appropriate, so I tailor every approach individually. What works for one student may not work with another. My comments on tutoring Composition : With a 50 year background in the administrative field, I am a super expert in tutoring/teaching English Composition.

I believe in tutoring so that the child receives feedback and fully understands his/her own limitations and how to overcome obstacles in class. Many children lack positivity in the methodology! I also believe that using art instruction helps children to learn in a more creative manner.

As it relates to French Language skills, I completed 4 years of French in high school and 2 years (thus far) at Stony Brook University- currently taking 400-level courses in French Literature. In my Fall Semester of 2013, I attended the Universite de la Sorbonne (IV) as a Stofy Abroad semester, wherein I recieved my Certificate of Completion, passing High-Intermediate French Language courses, including Grammar, Phonetics, 17th and 18th Century French Literature, and Art History.
