I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Secondary Education and a BS in Business Administration. My education major is in spanish but I am also certified to teach Mathematics. The majority of my teaching experience is in Mathematics. I am currently an 8th grade Pre-Algebra teacher and also work teaching Algebra at Pima Community College. I have tutored students in spanish and math for over 10 years.
I enjoy teaching Mathematics and helping students realize their true potential. I am not a 'mathematician' , I am a teacher who understands math, so my teaching style is very student centered. A Little Bit About Me...

Having graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Microbiology and minors in chemistry and Spanish has enabled me to expand my knowledge in areas such as science in particular biology and math. Being bilingual permits me to help those students who currently have difficulties mastering the English language. During my undergraduate career at the UofA, I was a tutor for genetics. I received upper-division credit for it. My tutoring experience lasted the whole Spring semester. In addition to offering office (tutoring) hours, I had the responsibility to oversee one laboratory section as part of the class's curriculum. The lab session was once a week for 3 hours.
