I tend to use the socratic method a lot to help my students arrive at their own conclusions and understanding of material, paired with some basic, interactive instruction when students do not already understand some of the material involved. Whenever possible, I prefer students teach me the material to some extent, when possible, as deeper understanding can often be reached through teaching others. During the last three years of my undergraduate college career, I was a Mathematics tutor for student athletes.
