Hello! I have just graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education and a Physics minor. Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math. I just recently graduated and I can't see myself not helping someone learn and love math. Math isn't a subject that everyone loves but I believe that can change with the right teacher. I decided early on in my college experience that I wanted to major in mathematics. I worked hard for four years taking a variety of math classes that ended with my senior seminar project that showed how math can be used to project how deadly a disease can be. I earned my BS in Mathematics with a 3.9 GPA in the spring of 2009. I tutored younger college students for about a year in subjects like Calculus 1 and 2, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, and Algebra.
I love teaching other people and I really get a sense of satisfaction when they are able to understand what I have taught them. My BS in physics, as well as my work in an atmospheric physics lab, has given me a strong mathematical and physical science background.
