During my senior year in high school, I tutored and mentored at a program named AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). This program is designed to prepare students for college. My job was to help students with any subject they were having trouble with. Math was the most common subject that students needed help with the most. In high school I took geometry, algebra, and math analysis. Statistics is my highest level of college math. I believe that with my experience and knowledge in math I can be a successful math tutor. I have experience working as an instructional aide at Kofa High School from 10/03-5/05. Motivated children that had mental and behavioral problems.
