Experience Summary
As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. My major is in Sociology, but I believe that helps me in pin-pointing the most important aspects of helping children individually in different social settings.
I have done tutoring before, but never with a school district. I believe that every child has a unique way of learning and I am capable and flexible in showing them the different ways in which they can learn. I am an extremely patient person and will not stop until my student has learned every subject problem area. I am dedicate to the student one hundred percent.
Teaching Style
My teaching style varies according to the different areas of need in each child. No one child is the same, and they all learn in different manners. I approach the student with a safe and clean environment in which they feel the most comfortable learning. A method that works best for them and a friendly approach that makes them understand I care about them and am there to help. I keep in mind that every child has a different way in which to reach goals, so I provide each child with an individualized goal sheet.
