I love the learning process. My goal is to provide an environment for the student to grow to love the process of learning. I see myself as a guide there to encourage the student in certain directions and to lead him to specific discoveries. I know when to patiently wait for discovery to occur and when to offer additional help and guidance. When learning is enjoyable and curiosity is created, the student finds the resolve, motivation, and determination necessary to continue learning. Hopefully, it will become a lifelong habit. As a graduate from Washington State University with a BA in English, creative writing, and a minor in communications with a washington state secondary teaching certificate I feel I have the knowledge and experience to help any student. I have tutored students in ESL, Spanish, English grammer and composition, guitar and poetry, primarily.
