My philosophy is one of inclusiveness in the classroom. My approach is one of teamwork, to give the students the feeling that their classmates and teacher are all working together towards a goal, their success. I believe that students need to be well-supported in their learning process but not spoon fed. Improvement is everyone's responsibility. As the leader of the class, it is my responsibility to analyse how best to teach each students, by knowing their learning styles and instructing them accordingly. I have always had an interest in tutoring, starting in Elementary school where I would leave during recess in the fourth and fifth grade to spend time in my past Kindergarten teacher's classroom.
