While completing my B.A. in Management at Eckerd, I learned how to write effectively and enhanced my understanding of grammar, mathematics, history, social studies and economics. As a volunteer tutor at a public school and at my church, I began to develop my teaching skills. These rewarding experiences motivated me to become a full-time teacher. As an undergraduate, I worked as a volunteer tutor in the Robles Park/Seminole Heights area for two years. I tutored kids in math, science, English, and social sciences. I also tought sunday school in my church where I was involved in designing the curriculum and planning lessons. I am also an experienced substitute teacher. I've been recently certified to teach social science's in grades 6-12 by the Florida Department of Education.

Literally all my life I have been asked by students, parents and teachers to help students who were having trouble. I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it."
