As a high school student, I tutored elementary and middle school students in their homes. In college, I tutored elementary age migrant children after school in english, math, and with homework studies. I also have three years experience in a public school system as a substitute teaching all grades in all subjects ranging from math and english to agriculture and special education.

In 1980 I acquired a BA in Geography (3.81 gpa in my major, 3.53 overall), with a minor degree in Environmental Geology (3.6 gpa).
