Upon completing my degree in Marketing at Notre Dame and after internships in the banking and advertising agencies, I knew the corporate world was not for me. I took a position in the development office of a private high school in Philadelphia. Working there for three years, I was passionate about raising money for education, but realized I would prefer to be in a classroom rather than an administrative office. I moved to a small town in New Jersey, where I found a job teaching Math to 5th-8th graders. Teaching middle school was a challenge I embraced. Let me begin by talking a bit about my calling. In my philosophy of teaching paper, I recently wrote that I am ready to teach and educate students that anything is possible if they believe. Individual learning styles must be addressed, and tutoring is an excellent way for a student to receive the type of instruction best suited for his/her learning style(s).
