Experience Summary
I have taught physics and mathematics in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, and Florida. I have taught mathematics through calculus and AP Physics. The majority of my experience has been at the high school level. In addition I have tutored students at summer camps. I have also tutored students preparing to take the New York Regents Examinations.
Teaching Style
I am a teacher because I enjoy helping students. I enjoy teaching and I enjoy seeing students reacting to unerstanding concepts. I strive to have students understanding the concepts they are working to learn. I teach at the rate of student's understanding. It is not beneficial to go on without students understanding the previous concepts. Since I have a lot of classroom experience, I can present several explanations for difficult concepts. My students have always done well on AP Physics exams, New York Regents exams, and other aptitude tests.
