I have my professional certification in Elementary K-6 and Physical Education K-12. I recently taught Kindergarten and I have more than 30 years experience working with children of all ages. Along with teaching I have twice owned my own school and been the Director of many schools and summer camps. I currently have a BS degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Early Childhood and a minor in Psychology. The program at Pittsburg State University was very intensive and provided me hands-on experience working in child care facilities, creating developmentally appropriate lessons for preschoolers and working closely with families.
