Experience Summary
Having a great love for learning, I strive to achieve the highest level of education. I have an Associates degree in Secondary Education from HCC. During this time I completed 45 hours of observation with elementary and high school students. I earned my Bachelors degree from USF, majoring in English-Creative Writing. Here, I learned the skills I would need to teach my future students the joy of writing. I am currently working to attain ABA approved paralegal certification; in this field writing and grammatical skills are a must. I have experience as homework help teacher for a South Tampa Aftercare center. I have also volunteered for Primrose Preschool and done observation at Plant High School.
Teaching Style
I love children as of ages, and am eager to teach the writing skills, hoping they can find as much joy in writing as I do. I am patient and understanding, having worked with mentally ill persons both in my job, and in my volunteer work. I enjoy working one on one with students and believe every student can look within themselves and discover their true potential if encouraged properly.
