I have been dancing for 10 years and I am classically trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Pointe. I am currently a dance minor at the University of Central Florida and completed one year at the New World School of the Arts dance conservatory in Miami, Florida. I have also worked as a dance instructor for two years, but have had experience which assistant teaching for seven years.

I'm a journalist by trade. My love of writing began at an early age. A bachelor's degree in Theater immersed me in the works of Wiliam Shakespeare and from there I became fascinated with history and living history at that. I then obtained a Master's degree in Journalism to expand my skill set in both the English and Spanish languages. I have extensive experience working with bilingual students of all ages in the subjects of English-grammar,composition, literature. Spanish-grammar, conversational. History- World, Latin, American. My teaching style is based on the premise that students want to learn and succeed. At times they are blocked in that endeavor by the level of difficulty, the complexities of a lesson or personal obstacles. The majority of my teaching experience occurred when I was in college. I was studying to be a social worker and worked part-time in the library. I also worked as a Sociology Teacher's Assistant and tutored other college students in the core science class. In Zimbabwe, I spent a summer teaching Bible class, tutoring special needs children in all subjects, coaching a girls field hockey team, and running a weekly youth program called AWANA.
