Experience Summary
I'm a journalist by trade. My love of writing began at an early age. A bachelor's degree in Theater immersed me in the works of Wiliam Shakespeare and from there I became fascinated with history and living history at that. I then obtained a Master's degree in Journalism to expand my skill set in both the English and Spanish languages. I have extensive experience working with bilingual students of all ages in the subjects of English-grammar,composition, literature. Spanish-grammar, conversational. History- World, Latin, American.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is based on the premise that students want to learn and succeed. At times they are blocked in that endeavor by the level of difficulty, the complexities of a lesson or personal obstacles. It's my job as a tutor to find out what that hindrance is and help the student overcome it. I vary my teaching style based on the needs of the student.
