After years in the field of automotive repair, I took an old hobby and turned it into a career. I attended Oakland Community College where I came to understand my abilities, and at the suggestion of professors, went about to earn a BA in history combined with teaching certification in history, political science, and social studies. After completing the BA, I felt that I had merely opened the door to historical thought and process, and continued toward a master's degree.
