My teaching style is demonstrative, multi-modal and I focus on attending to the underlying emotional issues. Statistics and Computing need to be taught in a slow, careful manner that builds upon each concept, while attending to the fear that students have around "math and science." I use collaborative projects and multi-modal tools. I am investigative and seek to uncover interests and motives. I practice empathy and patience with the goal of engendering student confidence in the subject.
