When I teach, I like to focus on the conceptual part of the subject before diving into the problem solving aspect. I believe it is essential to understand the significance of the matter, not just go through the motions. During my time at the University of South Carolina, I was a part-time tutor for the athletic department. There, I provided academic assistance in accounting, college calculus and statistics.
