Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine. While my academic background has had a focus, primarily, in the social work realm, my overall philosophy for working with youth emphasizes patience and education. I have sought opportunities working with both young children and adolescents. My interest began when I tutored elementary age children during my high school career. I help point to the truth, aiding the student in discovery. I try to avoid being overly didactic, and prefer to work by asking questions. I have a passion for making students of different age groups grasp concepts of Mathematics in their own way. After evaluating the way the student understands different concepts, I will strive to make them understand the problems completely.
