Experience Summary
Working smart and using the best study skills makes learning easier and more fun. I worked with the US Department of Education for over 30 years investigating civil rights complaints from kindergarten to graduate school. I know how education works and how to help students succeed in school. With a BA degree in Government and Geography, a Masters in Public Administration and 30 years experience in education I know how to help students reach their goals. I have taught primary school, high school, English as a second language, English, adults, geography, history, social sciences, study skills, SAT, TOEFL and advised students about college majors and university choices.
Teaching Style
I love helping others learn and reach their personal goals. My greatest satisfaction is the success of my students. I am an easygoing person and sensitive to my students’ needs, concerns and interests. While practice makes perfect, I help students use the best methods to learn more easily for their continued lifelong success. I teach students but in doing so I learn about them individually so that each experience is adjusted to the particular student. I am a creative thinker and continually work to improve myself and offer more to my students. Education never ends for me and I enjoy helping others continue with their own progress.
