Experience Summary
Previous students have often remarked on my practical teaching style, relying on real world examples and explanations for business and mathematics. The only way to remember information long term is to relate it to something tangible, especially in subjects like statistics and economics. Relating the ephemeral to the practical is important, and later allows for the information to be used in a real world setting much, much easier.
Teaching Style
I have tutored people since third grade, and have recently graduated with my masters in business administration with honors. As consistently as I have tutored, I have also excelled in an academic atmosphere and would love to share my knowledge of test taking skills and subject knowledge. I have had a wide focus throughout my experiences, with emphasis on statistics, essay writing, and business theory, and I have also done university research on neurophysics modeling and emotional intelligence. Because I am looking to keep my teaching skills current to eventually gain a tenured professorship, I would love to tutor you.
