I really do not have a teaching style yet. A one on one setting is what I am used to. I am open to different teaching techniques depending on the help the child requires. The internet is available and has many different techniques to learning different subjects I can research as I see fit.
I have just received my BA in E-Business management with a minor in Criminal Justice. I am beginning my Masters in Criminal Justice in March and will continue to a Dr. in the same field when possible. A Little Bit About Me...

I really love working with young people and helping them to reach their full potential. As a tutor, I do not teach the material necessarily, but I help to facilitate the learning process and reiterate what has already been explained and taught in the classroom (hopefully). I enjoy helping students learn, no matter what the subject is. Young people truly are the future, and as an educator I feel compelled to invest in their academic experience.
I have an undergraduate and master's degree, both focused in religious studies. I taught for two years at a private school here in Orlando. I taught middle school English and Bible. I have also been working with Valencia Community College (east campus) as a tutor for many different subject areas. I like to teach in an "I do, we do, you do" way. I take the skill and demonstrate it for my student. Then, we practice it together until they gain confidence with the skill, then they demonstrate it to me that they can do that skill. I will do just about what ever needs to be done to help a student. If they need crafts and experiments to let the knowledge sink in, then let's get our hands into it. I do not believe that all students learn the same way, and being a graduate of UCF's College of Education, I feel that I am exceptionally prepared to teach in a multitude of manners.
