My experience, (both academic and work)has been widely varied, ranging from research and engineering to financial management in a corporate environment, followed by golf course design and landscape management. Unfortunately the housing depression of the mid 2000's caused the business to be non profitable and was closed. My old next door neighbors have two children. One is a boy in elementary and one is a girl in middle school. I tutored the boy in reading and writing. He was able to read his first book on his own after a few weeks with me. I had to tutor the girl in math. she was taking algebra and was having a tough time with it. In two weeks of many meetings, she was able to pass her final exam. No matter what grade I was in, I always enjoyed going down to the ESE room and helping the special kids. I did what ever I could to help.
