Experience Summary
I taught public school in Florida from K-12 for the last 16 years. I taught for more than 10 years in the private school.
I am still teaching part-time at a private company. My passion
for teaching and the diverse subjects and levels of students that I have taught are two of my great assets that can be very
useful in the tutoring profession. I teach to help my student
reach his or her highest potential.
Teaching Style
Depending on the subject I use a highly academic and
focussed style of teaching. If it is communication like English, Writing and Journalism , I use a lot of teacher-generated materials. I am very flexible and would like to meet the needs of a particular student by administering some
kind of a skill inventory survey to identify his or her
style of learning. An inventory of his interests and skills
will also be a good tool for me to assess the student's
strengths.
