Psychology is one of my top subjects! B.A. degree in Psychology, as well as experience working on a mental health hospital unit.

I am currently a senior at Indiana Univeristy Kokomo. I will graduate in spring 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Leadership Studies as well as International Studies/Relations. My college coursework has a focus on psychology but my degree requires me to have a very liberal education, as such, I have taken classes in english, history, sciences, economics, government, and many others. I am a student leader and have been for the past two years. I am currently Student Body President of IU Kokomo and represent over 3,000 students. Past leadership expereices include being psychology club treadurer and president, orientation leader, and student senator. I have supplemented my college education by working on a behavioral/mental health unit. I have also done research with one of IU Kokomo's psychology professors, and am currently a teaching assistant for another psychology professor.

Every child wants to learn, although a more creative design may be needed to find a child's greatest potential. Patience, consideration, and encouraging words are simple tasks to help the self esteem of children in a child's education.
With a degree from Purdue University and continuing on to get a degree in engineering, I am engaged in many areas of science and math. Even at a young age I taught my younger sister basic mathematical and reading skills even before she entered kindergarten; we called it "school". The youngest, my brother, in which we are both diagnosed with ADHD, is amazing. I spent the last three years obtaining my MS in organic chemistry. Of this time, I spent two years teaching and helping undergraduate students with chemistry and biology. I spent one semester teaching general chemistry classes and an additional semester teaching an organic chemistry lab section. In addition to my experience teaching chemistry, my undergraduate degree in biochemistry and my experience working in an agronomy genetics lab has given me a good understanding of genetics and cellular biology.
