I was educated in pre-veterinary medicine as an undergrad. This required a lot of anatomy and physiology based courses. I also come from a medically based family and was introduced to anatomy and physiology at fairly young age. By the time I took anatomy and physiology at the collegiate level, I did not have to use my medical dictionary for definitions due to having an expansive knowledge of the terminology already. Bachelor's in secondary education with certification in biology. Bachelor's in animal science / pre-veterinary medicine. Taught general science to 7th and 8th graders for a year. Every child wants to learn, although a more creative design may be needed to find a child's greatest potential. Patience, consideration, and encouraging words are simple tasks to help the self esteem of children in a child's education. With a degree from Purdue University and continuing on to get a degree in engineering, I am engaged in many areas of science and math. Even at a young age I taught my younger sister basic mathematical and reading skills even before she entered kindergarten; we called it "school".
