As a graduate of Purdue University's School of Liberal Arts, I have been provided with a well-rounded education consisting of a variety of subjects. My degree is in Psychology, with minors in English and Religious Studies. Since graduating from Purdue in 2004, I have worked in social work, child care, and education. Now I focus on tutoring and freelance writing which both allow me to schedule my own time and explore my personal hobbies. As the daughter of an educator, I not only grew up understanding that every child could learn, but that every child deserved a sincere smile. I was challenged to pursue brilliance and excellence throughout my undergraduate education. I received two bachelor degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University: a BS in Illustration and a BS in Writing. I worked for two years in Indiana Wesleyan University's Writing Center as a tutor, mentoring undergraduate students, as well as with those in the Adult Learning Program, ESL students, and students with disabilities.
