Experience Summary
I was challenged to pursue brilliance and excellence throughout my undergraduate education. I received two bachelor degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University: a BS in Illustration and a BS in Writing. I worked for two years in Indiana Wesleyan University's Writing Center as a tutor, mentoring undergraduate students, as well as with those in the Adult Learning Program, ESL students, and students with disabilities. I am proficient in English grammar and English writing formats. For the last four years, I have also worked as an independent art instructor for over 60 students, exploring varied 2D media. I am competent and passionate in both of my fields.
Teaching Style
I am passionate about teaching, and inspired by all of my students. I strive to keep my curriculum relevant to each child's strengths and weaknesses; I believe that flexibility, creative problem-solving, and encouragement will guide students to success. I am patient, enthusiastic, and compassionate. I am confident in each child's ability to succeed, and I am available to assist your child in reaching academic success and pride in his or her work.
