I just passed the CPA last November 2009 after studying on my own full time. In my last job I worked as a General Ledger Accountant for a manufacturing company. I basically did the month-end close for their new acquisitions and did the account reconciliations as well. I also documented the accounting procedures of their new acquisitions.
