I have grown up around kids my whole life. I am the oldest of four kids and my mom has a day-care in her home. I always thought I wanted to be a singer until I decided my junior year in high school I need to pick a more stable job. I took an internship my senior year of high school where I spent half the day at school and the other half as an intern in a Kindergarten class. Dyslexia and Reading Tutor

My niece was having difficulty with learning to read. She attended a well known reading center, which did not improve her reading skills. Then she was diagnosed with a language based learning disability. I began researching and I found the Orton- Gillingham training program. I began training and tutoring at the Akron Learning Center. I have also tutored reading for A+ Abilities Plus. I continue to work with my niece and she recently score advanced on all areas of the OGT's.
