I am 20 years old. I graduated from high school with honors. I was in advanced english. I also graduated with honors from Madison-Oneida BOCES. I am currently in college for Business Management, and I am also studying Psychology. When I finish I want to work with teenagers. Everyone goes through a hard time when they are teenagers, and I believe I can help. I have an older brother who was struggling through high school, and I helped him to graduate. My younger sister is now in high school, and I help her anytime she needs it.
I love teaching and helping kids. I have been around a lot of kids all my life, and maybe I am not a people person, but kids seem to love me. A Little Bit About Me...

Learning and teaching is my passion. In high school it ws teachers with the same passion that made learning fun and encouraged me to achieve academic success. Most any subject can be made interesting if approached the right way. Mostly it is about patience and good respectful communication. I especially cherish working with young children who are usually starving for real knowlege, but are lacking the opportunity to engage their minds in a meaningful way. A Little Bit About Me...

I started off college at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned a Liberal Arts and Science degree. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete. I thought I wanted to go to medical school, but later decided against it. Also during my time at Utica College, I conducted medical research with Aspartame and Omeprazole on mice. I really enjoy tutoring. I have been told in the past by students I have tutored that I am able to bring the information to their level, helping them to more easily understand the subject at hand. I tend to prefer lectures combined with textbook assignments as opposed to teaching either using films, powerpoint presentations or computers. I work best with motivated students, even those with lower abilities, though I teach exclusively at the high school level and above.
