I started off college at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned a Liberal Arts and Science degree. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete. I thought I wanted to go to medical school, but later decided against it. Also during my time at Utica College, I conducted medical research with Aspartame and Omeprazole on mice. I really enjoy tutoring. I have been told in the past by students I have tutored that I am able to bring the information to their level, helping them to more easily understand the subject at hand. In a world of specialization, I tend to break the mold by having rather wide academic interests. I earned a bachelors degree in Religion, then went on to earn an MA in Theology. They have various programmed learning booklets teaching all of the major subjects. You are actually more of a tutor than a teacher if you work with these booklets. I have experience in the four major areas of learning which are English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. I was with students from first through twelfth grade. While I was college I had occasion to take two years of college level English and also statistics up through 600 level.
