As a graduate of Purdue University's School of Liberal Arts, I have been provided with a well-rounded education consisting of a variety of subjects. My degree is in Psychology, with minors in English and Religious Studies. Since graduating from Purdue in 2004, I have worked in social work, child care, and education. Now I focus on tutoring and freelance writing which both allow me to schedule my own time and explore my personal hobbies. I have been teaching children since 1990, when I worked as a Naturalist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. I did this kind of education for 3 years. I then created my own educational company and presented workshops on natural resource topics for children and adults from 1997-2002. More recently, from 2006-09, I worked both as a substitute school teacher and a contract tutor. I am presently presenting weekly tree programs at my local Boys and Girls Club.
