Experience Summary
I have earned a bachelor degree and a master's degree in Business Education. I have kept my teaching license current. In 2008, I obtained my vocational education endorsement for my teaching license.
Most of my career has been spent in the field of Information Services working as a business analyst and a project manager. Since education was also a passion of mine, I assumed the position of Education Coordinator for my department. In 2001, I began as a substitute teacher for elementary through high school and then accepted the position of building sub for two years. Following this I was a paraprofessional for communication delayed preschoolers and then with special education students in middle school.
Teaching Style
A good education is most important for a child to succeed in today's world. Children have different personalities, interests, and learning styles. They come from different backgrounds, cultures, and family value systems. All these differences need to be considered in planning the student's education.
Schools today offer more than just the traditional learning style. Today's schools offer career centers, high school universities, special education, night schools, and specialized alternative education programs. Each student should be able to succeed given the course of direction to achieve his educational goals.
