I graduated from Dayton Christian High School back in 2007. I am currently attending school at the University of Dayton seeking my bachelors degree for Sociology. I took a couple years from school after graduating high school to see what it is I wanted to do and I chose to attend The University of Dayton.

To be honest I worked as a Substitute because I was Laid off from my job. But when I started teaching I found it was very difficult to keep control of the class and to get the students to do their work. I thought I couldn't do this anymore. I didn't quit and things did get better. I learned that most of these children were from single parent homes, and were living below the poverty level. They were scared, hungrey and tired at times, and I new I had to adjust for me to be of any help, and I did. Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing!
