I love helping children learn new things. I get so excited when I see the "light bulb" go off. I love to find different ways to teach children to learn old things. I graduated from one of the top ranked schools in the nation for education, Miami University (Ohio). I earned my bachelor's degree there. I have been teaching children that have learning disabilities for ten years. I also have worked with children that have severe emotional problems. I will be graduating from Grand Canyon University in December with my master's degree in special education. For the past few years I have been tutoring an eighth grader in grammar and poetry.

I have graduated with an Associates degree in Applied Science for Early Childhood Education. I am currently going for my Bachelors Degree in AYA Mathematics to teach high school math. I am in my second year there starting in January. I love teaching children of all ages. I have worked in Preschool/Day Care for almost six years now. To be honest I worked as a Substitute because I was Laid off from my job. But when I started teaching I found it was very difficult to keep control of the class and to get the students to do their work. I thought I couldn't do this anymore. I didn't quit and things did get better. I learned that most of these children were from single parent homes, and were living below the poverty level. They were scared, hungrey and tired at times, and I new I had to adjust for me to be of any help, and I did.
