I have a passion for teaching. I TA'd an intro to Bio course and have experience tutoring many students for well over seven years. I am still a student myself, so I understand the value of tutoring. My public speaking class is extremely participatory, both so students can gain experience speaking in front of an audience and because this format seems to keep students more interested in the material. My experience teaching children in theatre was also very participatory. I believe that students learn best when they can understand a given concept from several different angles.
