I have a BS in Elementary Education. I taught first grade for 7 years, teaching reading, math, science, history and writing. I also tutored at Sylvan Learning Center for three years in Reading, Math (including Algebra I), Writing, Advanced Reading, ACT prep and Writing. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I have always had a passion for learning and helping others. I was a Honors English student and I have a strong interest in reading and writing. I have worked as a seasonal scorer of standardized assesments for a year. I was an America Reads America Counts tutor for 1 1/2 years. I tutored youth K-12 in both reading and math. I also provided homework assistance with other subjects. As an Eastern Il.graduate, in Education, I was extremely excited to achieve a high quality education.
