My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Have taught Trigonometry at two community colleges and at ITT-Tech. Total teaching experience in the subject is 32 years

I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering. Having taught for 2 universities, 2 community colleges and several private institutions I bring to the class both an academic/private industry point of view. Students are taught not only the specific details of the course but are also shown where the subject matter is used in industry along jobs which might employ this knowledge. I prefer informal/one-on-one teaching with strong interactivity of the student and teacher during the instruction session.
I am capable of both structured and informal teaching styles depending upon the situation. German tutor

my first education I finished 1985 as civil engineer in Switzerland. After 2 years experience I was training supervisor for the apprentice and also project chief of smaller and bigger civil engineer projects. I brought this young people to the end of there education to get there diploma. At the same time I was part time teacher at the professional school for civil engineer in Luzern Switzerland. After a few years I decided to make my hobby to my profession and started a second education as motorcycle mechanic. after I finished this, I opened my own shop
learning by doing. To learn a language (German) you have to talk, talk, talk as much as possible. Also reading is a good way to learn vocabulary and get the feeling for the word order.

I love teaching and tutoring math. Math is one of the most (if not the most) feared subjects. My main goal is teach students to understand and appreciate (if not love) math and not to fear math. I try to make learning fun and relate it to things that people experience in the outside world. It's so satisfying to 'see the light bulb turn on' when they are shown, for example, how a pinecone represents the Fibonacci series, or a fern a fractal.
