I am capable of both structured and informal teaching styles depending upon the situation. I find that when smaller increments of course instruction is followed up with the student demonstrating proficiency and comprehension the overall learning experience is maximized. Repetition is normally the best way to comprehend not only the material presented but it allows the student to assimilate the steps and formulas simulataneously.

German tutor

my first education I finished 1985 as civil engineer in Switzerland. After 2 years experience I was training supervisor for the apprentice and also project chief of smaller and bigger civil engineer projects. I brought this young people to the end of there education to get there diploma. At the same time I was part time teacher at the professional school for civil engineer in Luzern Switzerland. After a few years I decided to make my hobby to my profession and started a second education as motorcycle mechanic. after I finished this, I opened my own shop
learning by doing. To learn a language (German) you have to talk, talk, talk as much as possible. Also reading is a good way to learn vocabulary and get the feeling for the word order.

Literally all my life I have been asked by students, parents and teachers to help students who were having trouble. I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it." In addition to teaching music lessons, tutoring all subjects, and homeschooling my own two children, I have worked for the last 17 years with a private school. A Little Bit About Me...

I try to make learning fun and relate it to things that people experience in the outside world. It's so satisfying to 'see the light bulb turn on' when they are shown, for example, how a pinecone represents the Fibonacci series, or a fern a fractal.
