I have worked in both the public and private school settings and have 20 years teaching experience. I enjoy the most the opportunity to work with a child individually because that direct time and attention often makes it easier to assess areas of weakness and how best to adapt instruction to the learner's needs and learning style. One of my most cherished teaching positions was at the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences, a residential high school for gifted junior and seniors. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style first and foremost is to not find translations. The easiest way to understand is to find the cultural equivalent. Because I have a passion for languages and teaching, patience is never a second thought. Throughout my educational career I have accumulated a variety of resources to assist in my teaching and find patterns that make it easier for the student to work with.
