Biology is one of my top subjects! Worked as a professional biologist for a year and a half before moving to California. Also employed in the Florida Keys as a Marine Science instructor. Professionally specialized in fisheries and ecology, but have experience in Marine as well as terrestrial biology.

I prefer to keep students excited about what they are supposed to be learning. Naturally I have devoted my career to learning the facts and concepts that I am supposed to relay, so I will be excited, and I want them to be excited. My teaching style really depends on the person I am working with. People learn different ways. It is important to identify what works best for the person. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Once this has been identified, training can begin.
