Biology is one of my top subjects! Worked as a professional biologist for a year and a half before moving to California. Also employed in the Florida Keys as a Marine Science instructor. Professionally specialized in fisheries and ecology, but have experience in Marine as well as terrestrial biology.

I prefer to keep students excited about what they are supposed to be learning. Throughout my education experience, I was taught that whole learning is the best form of education. An education is not just gained through books; every life experience is capable of teaching a child. Math can be taught through books, games or even by counting the number of sprinkles on their sundae. Science can be taught by explaining why the cloud is in the sky and why it is raining. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them.
