I did my undergraduate work at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam & my graduate work at Syracuse University. I spent one year teaching 8th grade chorus and music in the Churchville Chili Jr. High School, in Churchville NY. I currently work as a 7th & 8th grade music teacher in the West Genesee Central School District in Camillus, NY. My first career was as a Registered Professional Nurse (NYS licensure) for 25 years. During those years, I kept up my interest in various fields of math, such as Abstract Algebra, Differential equations, and topology. I was especially interested in algebraically-capable computer math programs. I,eventually, went back to school for my Mathematics degree as part of a long-standing interest in and commitment to Mathematics. I presently teach students who are "at risk" in the 7th through 12th grades and have done so for the last 10-11 years at OHM-BOCES. I have tutored the NYS Math B course for 5 years as well as the current NYS Algebra I/II courses.

I have earned my bachelors degree in Biotechnology. I will be finishing my masters in education May 16, 2010. I am pending a teaching certification in Chemistry and Biology which should be granted September 1, 2010. I have worked with all different age groups.
