Early in my career I worked with adults that were mentally and physically challenged. I found this very rewarding and decided to pursue a degree in education, which lead me on my journey into the world of Special Education. I began working with children and young adolescents who had a variety of special needs and learning styles; I went on to specialized Autism and Special Education for K-12. I took both Honors Biology in ninth grade and AP Biology in twelfth grade. I received an A in both courses for my hard work and was in the top of my class both years.
